The Savannah Sports Monthly Sports Cards and Collectibles Show

The Savannah Sports Monthly in conjunction with Jacksonville Sports Cards will present it’s quarterly sports cards and collectibles showcase Friday - Sunday June 26-28 in the Savannah Mall food court.

This showcase will feature collectors from throughout the southeast stocked with single cards, sets, boxes, autographs, jerseys and other sports memorabilia and movie posters that will delight any collector. Come out to buy, sell, trade or simply marvel at all the abundance of collectibles at this fun event.

Cops, Race Cars, Motorcycles, Soldiers and Firemen at Savannah Mall

COPS-CAIR (Cops Against Illegal Racing) “Summer Heat” Car & Motorcycle Show on June 20, 2009!

The show is hosted by COPS-CAIR and the Savannah Mall from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Saturday, June 20th. On-site registration begins at 8:00 AM . Judging will be from 12:00PM-1:00PM and the awards will be presented at 3:00PM.

Unique Tuning, Low Country Customs and SuperBike Specialties are participating. The U.S. Army National Guard will be bringing the unit's climbing wall and H3 "Patriot Hummer". Music, door prizes, raffles, 50/50 drawing, food, and merchandise will also be available. Sponsors include Press Works, Georgia Army National Guard, The Collision Specialist at Akins & Bob, Applebee's, and Roger Wood Foods, to name a few.

The entry fee for the automobile and motorcycle contests is $15.00 (deadline for pre-registration is June 12, 2009). The entry fee on the day of the event is $ 20.00. Applications are available online at copscair.org. All proceeds benefit ongoing COPS C.A.I.R. outreach.

Free Peach Milkshakes from Chick-Fil-A!!

Beginning on June 8, 2009, from 2pm-6pm, Chick-Fil-A will be giving away a free small peach milkshake with any purchase!  The promotion will go from Monday, June 8th through Friday, June 12th.

The Peach Milkshake is made with real peaches and, as with the chain’s year-round milkshake flavors, is hand-spun with Chick-fil-A’s popular “home-style” Icedream® and topped with light whipped cream and a maraschino cherry.
